Ok, maybe you’re not a fan of Harry Potter, but for those of us who are there is a pretty exciting rumour going around.
Harry Potter might be getting a TV series! First announced by Bloomberg on April 3,2023 and then appearing on other news sites like yahoo and The National News. What do we know so far?
The rumour comes from two anonymous sources that believe the deal is close to being closed. J.K. Rowling, who wrote the book series in the talks to be creatively involved as a producer. They are wanting to stay true to the original story and characters while adding more details along the way.
We’re told that each of the seven books would have its own season in the series. Since some of the books are over 500 pages long – there’s a lot of important details that were cut out of the movies.
With the success of the the eight films (book seven had was released in two parts), it’s likely that this project will become a reality. The eight films generated a knock-out total of over 7.7 billion dollars world wide in ticket sales.
I hope this happens. I would love to see the magical wizarding world of Harry Potter reopened.
