My Pet Story!

Growing up, I didn’t really have many pets. 1. My mom was Jamaican and in the Jamaican culture, pets are for outside, not inside. 2. I had allergies and 3. My mom knew that even if we got a pet, it would be another responsibility for her after the sticker shock wore off #EXSM3989

The story I told was about my childhood and me wanting a pet. 

Started the story with why my mom didn’t really want a pet, and how I convinced her to get me a pet fish, then a pet hamster. Then I talked about all of my childhood adventures with my pet hamster GiGi. Then I finished the story talking about my current pet cats – Benji & Oliver.
